Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated October 1, 2026

This document is a template provided with the software. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer for your jurisdiction before relying on it.

We want GhostVerb to be a useful writing tool for everyone. To keep it that way, you agree not to use the Service to:

  • Submit content you don't own or have the right to use, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights.
  • Commit academic, professional or publishing misconduct — for example, presenting rewritten work by someone else as your own, or breaking the rules of a school, employer, journal or contest.
  • Create spam, fraud, phishing, fake reviews, impersonation or coordinated disinformation.
  • Generate content that is illegal, harasses or threatens others, or sexualises minors.
  • Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service except under our responsible disclosure guidelines.
  • Circumvent rate limits, billing or account restrictions, resell access without permission, or create accounts in bulk.
  • Interfere with or overload the Service or other users.

Enforcement

We may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement where we believe this policy has been violated. Where appropriate we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
